These terms cover your use of msl.org.uk (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These terms are not the contract for paid IT services. Managed services are governed by the MSL Care Services Agreement (and related schedules and data processing agreement) agreed with you separately.
1. Who we are

2. The Site is information only
Content on the Site (including blog posts and service descriptions) is general information about our business. It is not advice, a quote or an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, features and availability can change. Nothing on the Site creates a contract for services until we and you have signed (or otherwise formally accepted) the relevant agreement.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our servers or related systems
- Introduce malware or attack the Site (including denial-of-service)
- Scrape, harvest or use automated means to collect content or contact details from the Site without our prior written permission, except for ordinary search-engine indexing
- Impersonate us or misrepresent your connection with us
We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, we own or licence the copyright, trade marks and other rights in the Site and its content (including the MSL name and branding). You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal business use. You must not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law (for example fair dealing for criticism or review with acknowledgement).
5. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own risk.
6. Privacy and cookies
How we use personal information is set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.
7. Liability for website content
The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components
- We are not liable for loss of profit, business, data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of (or inability to use) the Site
- Our total liability arising from use of the Site is limited to £100
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
This section applies only to the Site. Liability for paid Care services is set out in the Care Services Agreement.
8. Changes
We may update the Site and these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from the Site are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
